So... first few days at a new campus, it's really nice and a lot more convenient. Nice and New!!

I ended up getting some of my work done in the holidays which was good. I ordered the tyvek... 25 meters and only ended up with half a meter spare so I cant stuff up.. I also ordered all my paint so I have 5 tins of paint with plenty left over if anybody wants some!!

I started off making up some samples so I could test the colour ways and I wasn't happy with some so I changed them and it also burned very differently to the other samples I had produced. I was thinking it may have been the paint or the small squares I was trying to burn were shrivelling up too small too fast.

So, when I started painting the fabric I applied it quite thin, and also these pieces are very big so when I burn it and shrink it down hopefully it will turn out a lot better. FINGERS CROSSED!!

I also purchased a lot of my fabrics in the holidays so all set to go..

On my second day back I sewed all the fabric together in class and it was HELL!!! So hard and awkward to do but that's one of the hardest parts done. Next... to make the patterns and burn this fabric... Time will be getting away from me soon...
